The Atlantic superstore has been subject to numerous ownership and name changes starting with its acquisition by Loblaw’s in 1976. In 1986, the company opened its first store in New Brunswick under the name The Real Atlantic Superstore. In 1995, the name was shortened and changed to its current name ‘Atlantic Superstore’.

As of today, Atlantic Superstore is a household name to Canadians and a prime destination for customers looking to fulfill their everyday grocery needs.
